The bakery is located in a very beautiful old half-timbered house with painted decorations you can sit outside as well as inside the staff are very polite and courteous. In my opinion, there is everything in baked goods that your heart desires from A for apple cake to Z for plum gendadschi, but not only Sweet wishes are fulfilled but you can also buy many kinds of rolls and breads here. What I personally find very nice is that there is a small supermarket in the bakery where you can buy things for everyday needs and an ice cream cone for the way home just great !! No wish remains unfulfilled and the prices are very fair if you consider that every baked product, whether bread roll or cake, is HOMEMADE with a lot of love! I like and often visit the bakery. I can only recommend a visit

The bakery with ice cream parlor is located on the main road through Ettal and is always well attended. We definitely know why: the cake and bread are just delicious. In addition, the super friendly and brilliant service. According to the dialect she came from the east at some point, but fits into the shop like no other !!! Despite the hectic pace and stress, she always put a smile on the face of even the most impatient visitor.

Had two very good cakes (Sachertorte and covered apple pie) as well as two hot chocolates. The service was friendly and on the ball and mask-forgeters or refusers were consistently addressed (I thought it was great). The price was completely okay at around € 11.

Nice area, unfortunately probably due to nature, many curious wasps buzzing with on the cake plate.

Was there less than ten minutes ago and definitely wanted to share my experience - or rather the taste of the freshly filled rolls and the sweet particles! Super delicious and as mentioned above FRESH. Absolutely nice staff and friendly contact. I am happy to come back, even if it is only a small transit :)

A must when you are in Ettal! Lovely bakery – yum! Great baked goods. Also have a small market where convenient type items can be picked up. We enjoyed the deli sandwiches they made for us – great rolls & breads are offered. Then you could pick from local meats and cheeses to create your sandwich (we enjoyed some cheese from the local Ettal cheese cooperative – Schaukaserei) Hot and cold drinks were also available. The baked goods were delicious and the sandwiches were just great and so reasonably priced. There is a small seating section as well (about 6 tables which was a nice café area) There are also two restrooms which was helpful. We received warm hospitality and great service. We were assisted with our purchases in English which was helpful. (note – it’s Ammergauer Strasse 7 – I don’t recall Ulrich Komm being on the sign outside – I recall a yellow awning noting – Café – Backerei – Konditorei) Be sure to stop while you are in Ettal – yum!!

We took four pieces of cake, which were all excellent. The rest of the display was very fresh and delicious. Can we recommend! Thank you also for the help with the coffee machine

A great little shop, there are many kinds of bread cakes, and the staff is also kind.

Fair priced, homemade bread, cake, etc. isn't too much, 3rd party products are overpriced. Food is very good and the only option in Ettal
